CANCER CAT

In the myth, Hera sends the crab to distract Hercules while the hero is fighting the Lernaean Hydra, the serpent-like beast with many heads and a poisonous breath of fire. Each time Hercules would cut off a head, two more would grow in its place. When the crab tries to kill Hercules, or at least distract him long enough that the hydra kills him, Hercules kicks it all the way to the stars. This happened during one of the “twelve labors” that was put upon Hercules for crimes that Hercules committed while under the influence of a spell that queen Hera placed upon the hero. When the crab was extinguished, Hera placed the crab among the stars for eternity.

VIRGO CAT

There are countless myths involving the zodiac sign of Virgo. Virgo has so many different personas: Astrea, Andromeda, Demeter, Ceres, Ma’at, Justitia, Dike, Ishtar, and Isis. The Virgo Constellation is the largest constellation on the path of the sun known by astrologers as the ecliptic. Virgo is also the virgin mother goddess associated with the Virgin Mary or La Virgen de Guadalupe. Virgo is seen as the moral compass of the zodiac measuring justice using her scales. Once man became too greedy, violent and destructive, she ascended back to the stars leaving mankind with a 40º constellation called Virgo and a 30º degree constellation called Libra to remind the human race to use temperance in its affairs

Since Chiron was an immortal, he suffered profoundly but could not die. Hercules stikes a deal with Zeus to have Prometheus released from being chained to a rock for giving fire to humans and in exchange for the sacrifice of Chiron’s life.
