This weekend, The Scorpio moon returns with its mysterious shadows and magnetic whispers, contributing to a very fast, non-stop and adventurous weekend. Typically the party is over by Monday but the full moon in Sagittarius, complete with a lunar eclipses, encourages us to move social development forward with the integration of excitement with the mundane.
Time for things to speed up. With Mercury out of retrograde on April 4th and Mars coming out of retrograde on the 13th, thought and action can once again do their elegant dance of constructive productivity. But don’t think that you are getting off that easy- since Mars is going direct under it’s native Aries sun, expect lots of provocative action that will lead to lots of growth, if you can get past the frustration.
This week is especially good for Aries (although you might not feel that way everyday), Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius, Gemini, Taurus and Scorpio…sorry Leo, Cancer, Virgo, Pisces and Capricorn, you will be pushed unless you have fire in your moon or Ascendant.
The New Moon in Aries is a time of action at home. Aries is the initiating force in Tropical Astrology and Aries are often known for their fighting “go-getter” spirit.
The moment a baby takes its first breath of air is considered its official birth.
In Astrolosophy, the new moon in Pisces represents a time of reflection usually spent at home with family or close friends.
Aries is ruled by and associated with the planet Mars because Aries is considered the cardinal-fire (initiator) force that ignites (or reignites) the zodiac cycle. In Rome, Mars was seen as a military god worshipped by the legions of its soldiers. Mars was the first day of the year in the ancient Roman 10-month Calendar. At that time, the month was called Martius and winter time had no months at all.
