The AstroClock can be broken into FOUR (4) parts

  1. Each individual sign is a one, because they are all unique. (1)

  2. Each sign is either Masculine and a day sign or Feminine and a night sign creating a polarity. This is the two of the four (2).

  3. Each Zodiac Sign has a mode: Cardinal, Fixed, or Mutable, designating this a three (3)

  4. Each Zodiac Sign is an Element: Fire, Earth, Air, or Water designating this  FOUR (4)

Sector Two: The Fixed Sector. This is the stabilizing sector of the modalities.

ALL SECTION

Four (4) The Elements (Fire, Earth, Air, Water)

If you look at the sequence pattern for the elements, they come at a frequency of once every four times.

  • Fire = Tetrahedron: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
  • Earth= Hexahedron:  Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo
  • Air= Octahedron: Libra, Aquarius, Gemini
  • Water= Icosahedron: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces

This is the main reason the basics are described as “easy as 1-2-3-4.”

Sector One: The Cardinal Sector. This is the initiating sector of the modalities.

CARDINAL FIRE SECTOR

This could be considered to be the “Cardinal” Sector of the AstroClock. Aries is “Cardinal” and So is Cancer.

  1. Aries = Fire = Cardinal

  2. Taurus = Earth = Fixed

  3. Gemini = Air =Mutable

  4. Cancer = Water=Cardinal

Sector Two: The Fixed Sector. This is the stabilizing sector of the modalities.

FIXED AIR SECTOR

This could be considered to be the “Fixed” Sector of the AstroClock. LEO is “Fixed” and So is Scorpio.

  1. LEO = Fire = Fixed

  2. Virgo = Earth = Mutable

  3. Libra= Air =Cardinal

  4. Scorpio= Water=Fixed

Sector Three: The Dynamic Sector. This is the adaptable sector of the modalities.

MUTABLE WATER SECTOR

This could be considered to be the “Mutable” Sector of the AstroClock. Sagittarius is “Mutable” and So is Pisces.

  1. Sagittarius = Fire = Mutable

  2. Capricorn = Earth = Cardinal

  3. Aquarius= Air =Fixed

  4. Pisces= Water=Mutable

FIRE TRIPLICITY GRID

Fire is creative and action oriented. This element is associated with the TETRAHEDRON among the Platonic Solids!

The Fire Sector begins with “fire of fire,” ARIES at the 1st house. The first house is considered the house of self and is associated with the zodiac sign of Aries. This is the house that colors how we understand the world and which mask we will likely use in order to participate. Since this is the Cardinal point of all of Tropical Astrology, the urge to be a pioneering leader are especially active in the first house.

WATER TRIPLICITY GRID

WATER TRIPLICITY GRID

Water is emotional and intuitive and adaptable. This element is associated with the ICOSAHEDRON among the Platonic Solids!

The Water Sector begins with “fire of water” Cancer at the 4th house. Not only is the fourth (4th) house considered the “under sky,”  of hidden, emotional energy, this sector is associated with home, the mother, family, intuition and the moon cycles of the moon. Since it is in the opposite of the sun’s highest position in the 10th house at noon, this placement deals with the “shadow side” of the personality that often goes unacknowledged, or denied entirely.
*Also called a Nadir

Air is intellectual and adaptable. This element is associated with the OCTAHEDRON among the Platonic Solids!

AIR TRIPLICITY GRID

Air is dynamic and intellectual. This element is associated with the OCTAHEDRON among the Platonic Solids!

The Air Sector begins with “fire of Air,” Libra at the seventh (7th) house. Not only is the seventh house considered a mirror of the house of self (house 1), but it demonstrates the progress in the development that has taken place since the first house.  The sun has metaphorically travelled and evolved  through the first six (6) houses  becoming the house of love, marriage and partnership in general. This house is about conflict resolution, diplomacy, balance and sometimes “open enemies.”

Earth is stabilizing and practical. This element is associated with the HEXAHEDRON among the Platonic Solids!

EARTH TRIPLICITY GRID

Earth is stabilizing and practical. This element is associated with the HEXAHEDRON among the Platonic Solids!

The Earth Sector begins with “fire of earth,” Capricorn at the 10th house. Not only is the 10th house considered the highest point of energy (due to its association with the noon position), this culmination also represents where the most public themes play out. Because of its associated with Saturn, themes for people play out individually  in terms of reputation, and collectively in terms of boundaries and agreed upon rules that emerge to steer the development of humanity as a whole. This is sector of accountability and achievement and the value of sacrifice to get what we want.
